Daily And Weekly Updates About My Experience Having A Breast Augmentation.
So today is the 12th of January and I am exactly 4 weeks post op today!!! On 6 weeks I will be doing a SUPER blog post with pictures from day 0 to then which is a must read for those considering surgery.
Pain: Minimal. Yesterday I had some sternum pain and I think it was the implants coming closer together how the doctor said that they would which is great!!! The sides still ache and feel as though they are bruised. Also it’s becoming less painful to rub the vitamin E on my scars meaning – no more pain distraction dance! Win.
Scars: Are also looking good. The scabs have fallen off and I will provide a picture to show you all how they are looking. I am still applying the Vitamin E twice daily to make sure that the scars fade and heal as well as they possibly can. So here is the picture. The scars are perfectly in the crease but I was laying down taking this picture and they look a bit odd due to the funny angle but as you can see, nice and smooth!
What I am wearing: Still the support bras. Go the maternity bra! Oh, and I am wearing Lorna Jane stretchy bras to bed as they are less restrictive. I am wearing them to bed going back to the whole “I am afraid my boobs are going to fall off my chest” thing.
What I am doing: Lots of things! I am back at work this week and its been nuts. Fortunately, I have had my mothers help as I still cannot lift anything heavy and even bend over to make corrections. I feel like going back to work has done me a world of good. Clients who saw me monday and then Wednesday say that I am moving so much better and I am feeling better. I still have not done a single ounce of exercise which is starting to get to me. Mainly because I am just feel flabby and untoned. I am however weighing a perfect 63kilos meaning that I am now only 1kg away from my goal I set of being 62kg!!!
Medications: I am off all pain killers and only have 2 days of Mobic (the anti-inflammatory) left.
How they look: They look great! Swelling has gone down a tonne but it is still taking the right one a bit longer to catch up to the left! It’s normal for this to happen especially since I had more work done on one than the other.
I bought some swimwear from Victoria’s Secret the other day which arrived!!!! They fit perfectly on the new additions to the body!
