What was your main goal for purchasing Business Bang?
My main goal in purchasing Business Bang was to discover a way to break free from work that was draining my energy. I wanted to establish a business model that allowed me to get paid without having to constantly trade my time or be tied down by availability.
Did the program help you achieve your goal?
Absolutely. Peta encouraged me to rethink my entire approach to business, challenging the belief that there was only one way forward for me. I had felt boxed in, cut off from creativity and inspiration, but through this program, I was able to gradually unravel my rigid structures and rediscover a new path. By the end of Business Bang, I had let go of services that I felt I ‘had to do’—like ongoing implementation based retainers—that no longer aligned with my vision and left me feeling reactive, stuck and small. I shifted my focus to consulting and one-off projects, allowing me to be much more selective with clients and bring in higher income with fewer client-facing hours.
How does your business look now it’s been banged? What are the top three changes/shifts you’ve noticed — in your business or yourself?
Since completing Business Bang, my business feels lighter and freer than it has in years—I finally have room to breathe! I’m no longer chained to constant client work, which means I can focus on growing my own business and on simply being myself outside of work. The top three shifts I’ve noticed? First, I’m earning more while working less (yes, please!). Second, my boundaries are rock-solid, so I actually feel like the boss of my own life and business. And lastly, I now have a vision for my business that’s exciting and expansive, not something that boxes me in.
How have you grown as an entrepreneur?
I’ve grown as an entrepreneur by stepping into a space of true stability and trust in my business, which has allowed me to explore new avenues with confidence. I no longer feel constrained by ‘what makes sense’ in a conventional way. With the solid foundation I’ve built, I’ve felt safe enough to pursue paths that might seem outside my business scope—like becoming a breathwork practitioner—because I know my core business will support me through these explorations. This shift has brought a sense of expansion and creativity, allowing me to follow my curiosity, grow my skills, and offer more holistic support for my clients.
What were your top three wins?
