What do you sell?
I’m a Social Media Manager for allied health therapists. I offer premium strategies, management and other marketing add-ons.
Who is your customer?
Allied Health Therapists in Australia who run their own businesses.
What was your main goal for purchasing Good In Business?
Direction. I felt like my time was being pulled in all sorts of directions when it came to lead gen and wanting to be as visible as possible. However, I was not being a master of anything and things were getting missed in terms of leads. I needed to simplify everything.
Also, I wanted to maintain consistency with my income and scale a little bit, so I am able to have some help in my business.
Did the program help you achieve your goal? How does your business look now?
Yes, it did. My favourite part was the 1-page business plan. I have everything in one screen regarding what I need to do and accomplish each month. Knowing what I am selling each month, how I’m marketing it, how I am actively getting leads and a running total of income (plus so much more).
My business looks much more credible than it did. Peta challenged me to go get some past testimonials and put them on my website to make it a no-brainer for allied health therapists who want to work with me. I have raised my prices and started to offer projects on top of my retainers to be able to help with scaling and other busy times. I feel so much more confident in the packages and the prices that I am offering and I actually have had 2 leads come in this week with the higher prices I am offering.
“My money win: a price increase and creating a business that doesn’t break when I can’t be around all the time.”
What has been your most audacious move in the last 8 weeks?
Definitely giving myself permission to dream big. I’m a full time carer to 2 young children in regional Australia and I have been just using the business as a ‘back up’ income in the household or taking on a small amount of clients due to my capacity. With the clear deliverables, price increases, clear time commitment to clients, but also the clear daily marketing steps, I feel like I’m not so much scrambling all the time and that has freed up a lot of headspace and I became confident that I can have this business become my household’s main income.
What were your top three wins?
+ Business direction/plan.
+ Getting multiple leads a week at a higher price point.
+ Confidence in myself and my business.
+ Clearer headspace for me to be able to work effectively.
Did you have a money win?
100%. I have always priced on vibes or industry research and being able to have a clear division per invoice of what percentage is profit, tax, take-home pay, etc. is very refreshing. My accountant will love me!
My money win: a price increase and creating a business that doesn’t break when I can’t be around all the time. Being able to offer once-off projects when I know there’s going to be school holidays or 10 hour roundtrips to get medical attention or when I want a holiday is amazing.
What made you decide to go with us over other service providers?
Honestly, peer pressure and FOMO! Everyone in my business friend circle has either been in GIB or BB and I wanted a piece of the action. Everyone speaks so highly of Peta and the way she coaches, so I went to a few free webinars to check her out and fell in love with the way she does things.

How long did it take you being in GIB to see results or a change in your business/yourself?
I think it’s hard to say because I was so in the thick of it to realise the changes that were happening (GIB is a bit intensive). I think being able to put it all together at the end and then coming back and editing it and finalising it a couple of days later made me realise how much we had covered. I don’t think it was until I started actioning the GIB plan that I started to see how it all worked together. I had ‘separate’ wins along the way that I hadn’t tied to anything big until the last week. I’m also a person who loves action, so being able to action it and see how easy it was, see how easy it was to articulate what I offered, have confidence when I discuss pricing etc. is when the penny dropped.
Can you estimate the ROI from your GIB investment?
Financial ROI, not at the moment, but I have a couple of sales in discussion.
Why should someone join GIB?
Clarity and to overhaul your business. If your business is feeling stagnant, uninspiring, not working like a well-oiled machine, not profitable, life has changed, etc. it would be very good for you!
